Edinburgh is around 1.5 hours away via scenic route on A701.
Glasgow can be reached in around 1.5 hours via M74 motorway or bus from Moffat market place at regular intervals.
Also on A708 and 15 miles away from Moffat is St Marys' Loch.

The waterfall, one of the UK’s highest, plunges 60m down into the Moffat Water Valley.
